What would you do if you had the cure for a terminal disease?

The loving thing to do is to make this cure known and available to everyone. This is what our Heavenly Father has done through His son Jesus Christ and by extension the Church; His earthly representatives.

Sin is a disease of the human heart. In its basic form, it is simply rebellion from the things of God. It is man’s refusal to follow the ways of God and instead; be their own gods. This is pride. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.

We are compelled by the love of God to make this cure for the disease of sin known unto all mankind. Matthew 28:19-20. For God so loved the world that whoever believes in Christ will not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Jesus said that He did not come into the world to condemn it, but through Him, the world would be saved. John 3:17.

Saved from what? The consequences of our sins and the justice of God. Jesus warned in the gospels repeatedly of an eternity separated from God in a place called hell. We are His glorious church that lets the world know that He loves us so much that if we believe and trust in Jesus, we will spend eternity in heaven with Him.
